1. 1 · Get your licence key

   It’s in your Polar receipt email — and anytime in your Polar customer portal (the link is in that email), under your purchases.

2. 2 · Activate it

   In your editor (VS Code · Cursor · Windsurf · Antigravity):

   Open the Command Palette (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + P) → run DevKit for Strapi: Enter License Key → paste it. That unlocks rename and the bundled MCP’s Pro tools in one go.

   For Claude Code, Claude Desktop, or another standalone MCP client:

   Not set up yet? Connect the MCP server to your agent first — copy-paste configs for Claude Code & Claude Desktop. Then add DEVKIT_LICENSE_KEY to its env block to unlock the Pro tools.

The licence is checked once on activation, then works offline — no telemetry, no code leaving your machine.
